Lost in Space - Netflix launched an interactive audio game on Google Home smart speakers

To promote its original science-fiction series “Lost in Space”, which debuted on April 13, 2018, Netflix unveiled an interactive audio game on Google Home smart speakers.

The game challenges users to use voice commands to help the show’s protagonists, the Robinson family, after their spaceship crash-landed on an unfamiliar planet. The game can be activated by saying ‘Hey Google, play the ‘Lost in Space’ game. Players can then start to interact with the characters by answering questions and thereby helping them to determine their next move. They have to free the family’s spaceship Jupiter, which is stuck in ice after the crash-landing. The game can be played for about five to six minutes and features a branched narrative. The spoiler-free game was recorded by the original cast members and does not require any prior knowledge of the series.
